cask ales
Cask ale, also known as cask-conditioned beer or ‘real’ ale, is beer that undergoes secondary fermentation in the barrel. Brewers of cask ale don’t interfere with it, they don’t filter it and they don’t pasteurise it. All they do is put fresh live beer straight into the barrel where, still in unfinished form containing lots of lovely fruity residual yeast, it remains alive and kicking until it lands in your glass.
Fortitude
Bristol Beer Factory (4.0% ABV)
The amber bitter is a major part of the UK’s brewing heritage. While the style has largely been eschewed by craft-era breweries, there is still huge desire for great beers of this ilk (balanced beers with satisfying bitterness) but the market is dominated by large national and regional brewery brands.
With this beer we are saying, why can’t a small, independent brewery with a great reputation for interesting cask, brew a sensational, no-frills 4.0% bitter. This is a beer-coloured session bitter for those who want to enjoy a perfectly balanced, locally and lovingly made English bitter. We embrace all beer styles and wanted to acknowledge that the English bitter is a major part of both the brewing scene’s present and future. We hope you enjoy!

Deeper Water
Left Handed Giant (4.5% ABV)
Deeper Water is a rich and toasty Nitro Stout, with subtle aromas of Turkish Delight and freshly ground coffee, leading into a smooth, creamy and balanced palate. Delicate flavours of Morello cherry and roasted barley emerge quickly and are met by a moreish clean finish. Vegan

Wiper and True (4.2% ABV)
Just like the three mirrors that make up the internal chambers of these optical instruments to create an ever-changing picture, our Kaleidoscope series combines three different hops to create a seasonally evolving flavour profile. Whilst the hops change, our intention remains the same – to create a beer that is harmonious, bright and refreshing.

New Bristol Brewery (4.6% ABV)
A clean, pale lager with a citrus finish designed for straight forward enjoyment. Crisp yet soft maltiness from traditional malt and a gentle, modern floral finish thanks to the Sazz hops. A lager with flavour!
