History

Since 1841

Steeped in heritage and character

Originally a greengrocers, but a licensed premises since 1841, the Robin Hood is a Grade II-listed pub combining traditional features such as wood panelling and flooring with an original arched-window frontage

175 years later

Staying true to tradition while moving with the times

The Robin Hood is housed in a beautiful building and has a long and cherished past. Today you can get a sense for the many hundreds of thousands of punters who have crossed the threshold in search of a thirst-quenching drink. Our community includes university and hospital workers, students, local residents and businesses, and we’re proud to offer exciting pop-up kitchens, fun events while keeping well-maintained lines and an excellent array of local beers & ciders.
